ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So this is not my first death on insane/roguelike difficulty caused by this strange thing.
The subject is that very rarely when fighting a red mob, I click on a talent and suddenly my character spends turns on his own till he dies, then i rage quitting the game. Attached a screenshot with a death log, it looks like I'm just hitting him consistently, but I don't control my character and he just continues to act on his own until he dies, it all happens like in a second. At first I thought it was some kind of multiple click, but this very rarely happens exactly when I fight with a red mob and never else. Can someone tell me what kind of thing is this and how to counter it?

This is most likely the bug with WASD movement. Sometimes while you have WASD movement enabled, a signal gets stuck and your character will just move (or bump) in that direction constantly until you hit the corresponding WASD key. One of these bugs was fixed in a recent patch but there is another one which we haven't managed to replicate reliably yet nor find a reason to why it happens.

Easiest way around it at the moment is to simply turn off WASD movement from options.
