Drowned with air

In short, I had a long, brutal fight on Insane in Lake Nur. I finally finished the enemy off but I had started suffocating. Then I accidentally double-tapped and got into a dangerous situation in which I was losing life.
So... I found an air pocket with 10 life left... I'm literally standing on it and my air has refilled to 47. I tap wait... and die.
WTF??!!??

That is very hard to decipher without the game log showing what actually happened.

If you start suffocating you will keep suffocating until you get onto a non-water tile. Stepping into air bubbles doesn't work. Known issue and widely agreed to be stupid so maybe it will get changed eventually.

Nice to find this. 'Course it would have been better earlier, before I decided to take my guy into lake nur without breathing eq. for the challenge. Heh. Quick trip to Eidolan...
