I got some Spellhunt Remnants (gloves), but trying to equip them does nothing. No message logged as to why. It can't be worn by those with arcane powers, but as far as I know I don't have any arcane powers? I'm a human bulwark.

Do you have a Rune inscribed? Did you take a generic category as a reward from an escort? What prodigies have you taken?

Thanks for the reply, I had a rune inscribed. Mousing over the inscribed rune didn't say that it was arcane. It seems that the only way for me to have learned that in-game was to mouse over another rune that I didn't have inscribed yet. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

When you mouse over an inscribed rune, is there a line that says "Is: a spell"? I see that, but I've had so many Quality-of-Life mods installed for so long that I don't have a good sense of what's displayed and what's not in the base game.

I can confirm having a rune inscribed will do this. Having any rune will also make Zigur patrols hostile.

I have the same problem. In my case, it's because I chose Foresight as an escort reward.

It was hard to find out because it's now shown on the level up screen (accessed by 'p'). I had to go to the full character sheet to figure it out.
