ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I dunno why it bothers me so much, but on the main ToME website, I have no idea what the creatures on the top left and right are in the banner. Those weird, featureless blobby things wearing armor and holding weapons in their noodly appendages.

They are mentioned in the lore. Look for any that say "stronger than the gods" or something like that. They also have some main story significance later on, so that's all I'll say.
