Mac compatibility issues

I've been experiencing a bug on Mac OSX where whenever I launch the game, it only shows either the bottom or upper half of the screen, and I am unable to tab out, or effect anything to adjust resolution etc. Any suggestions?

This happens with both thte STEAM and the download version. In order to get out of the game, hit CMD-OPT-ESC which will force quit it. For some reason, it seems that the game doesn't like to play nice with Mac screen resolution larger than about 1440x900 full screen.
