Playing as a Temporal Warden, I noticed that I can swap places with my hounds, even while dazed. Is this intentional or is it a bug?

I'm gonna assume this falls under the same scope as the bug that lets you swap with allies when you're pinned.

I don't think it really classifies as a bug. Either way, I wouldn't want it removed even if it was

It's been around forever, so I'd assume it would have to be intentional. I think the rational is the friendcritter is the one moving you if you're not able to, or something along those lines. Tiles are very fuzzy things anyway in terms of distance, just assume stuff is getting in the way and functionally putting space between you and the whatever, even if your character doesn't physically move.

Swapping places with allies in tome does not count as movement for whatever reason. Even when you're completely unable to move normally, you can swap places with allies. It's weird, but it's been a thing for long enough that there must have been a reason for it at some point.

it's not prevented by things that prevent movement but it definitely count as movement for some things.
it actually count as 2 movement even, the one you make, and the one the friendly you swap with force you to do.
was not funny to figure out while coding bristlebarb...
