ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I am having a most frustrating experience trying to continue playing my game. I purchased ToM'E core and the three DLC's through Steam. I first played ToM'E offline then online with no problem. I was able to activate 'Embers of Rage' and play that just fine. However, when I downloaded 'Ashes of Urh'Rok' and 'Forbidden Cults', I could not and can not get them to initiate. I wiped all my saves uninstalled everything and re-installed it all yet it just runs through the four loading screens with the slider bars and never gets to a static starting point for any game. There is no particular order to the loading screens it is just an endless looping of them. I have plenty of memory and power and am running Windows 10. Anyone have advice on a fix? Check the log file for what? I have Ashes, which I can select from the character creation menu, but not Cults. It simply won't appears even though the game clearly know it's there because it appears on the opening splash screen. Also, the Writhing One class is available. But all I get is the regular. the arena, the endless, and orcs. No Cults. And I literally have no other addons in the folder except for Possessor and Zomnibus (I just realized I actually need to add the Items Vault back.

For the OP, I would expect some sort of error message, as to why its jammed itself in a loading screen loop.

As for your problem, Ashes and Cults are not additional campaign options. If you have the Writhing One class available, the Cults DLC is active. What else are expecting? (And why are you using this thread?)

Ah, okay (and I meant orcs, not Ashes.) That wasn't made clear on the DLC page. Since my other DLC was, in fact, a separate campaign, I expected this one to be as well.

And I'm using this thread because I did a search for "Forbidden Cults" here on the forum in hopes of finding an answer without needing to create a new post and ask. This thread was one the ones that came up (the only one that seemed relevant) and it hadn't been touched since late January, so I figured it would be as good a place as any to ask because I had (or thought I had) the same basic problem -- being unable to access the DLC. Didn't figure anyone would get hurt by doing so.
