ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi guys, I'm stuck in godfeaster, the encounter map.
I found rod of recall doesn't work. Even after I died, there is no option can get away from this map.
And of course, I cant find a way to kill the boss.(I tried and lost 2 life)

So, is there any method can bring me home?

At a certain point about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way along, you should end up with a companion. If you teleported forward you may have missed that event. The companion helps you get out (but the boss is strong even then).

Once you've entered the zone, the only way is to kill the boss. Good luck!
