Can Ogre characters with ability to 1 hand 2 handed weapons use tentacles with a 2 handed weapon?
Or will they 2 hand it, due to the fact your off hand is "empty"?

Ogre Writhing One can indeed use 2H + tentacles. You can also make good use of six inscriptions and the grisly constitution bonus, so Ogre is an even better choice then usual.

View the tentacle as effectively a permament offhand, and Mutated Hand as it's mastery.

And yeah, The Writhing One was made for Ogre in the same way as some would argue that Yeek was for Solipsist (or the other way around). Everything just falls into place.

It was hardly made for Ogre since it took weeks (or months i don't really remember) of beta before it was allowed to ogrewield the tentacle. And it was only because kirk kept asking for it :p
