ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

On my most recent run, something happened and I lost a weapon but luckily I had some spares in my inventory. This has happened before (on a Stone Warden) when I was in a vault and that character died rather quickly because she couldn't really do anything.

Is this a bug or is there some monster effect that I'm not aware of? When it happened, I didn't notice a status effect. (Is something like "theft" happening as it does in Angband when you encounter those dirty master thieves and have to track them down if you want the item back?)

You swapped a weapon set, presumably with a hotkey there are no inventory-affecting effects in ToME4, sadly or luckily. (other than Cursed's curses)

Ah, good to know...I use "2" as for a primary talent, so I likely was thick fingered and hit "q". Grr!
