ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Enemy sets my character to sleep. How to step forward? I'm stuck.

You can press numpad 5 to skip turns or use instant talents (like infusions) during sleep

also you can left click on your character and it advances the game one turn with no action taken.

When I was new to this game I had no idea what to do when put to sleep, couldn't move or use any abilities, game seemed stuck. Hehe.
