How to control Time Warden's attacks?

SO whenever I attack with my time warden by clicking on an enemy close to me, he time shifts to the bow slot. I don't want that. I want him to attack with the dual weapons.
One way to do it is to manually click the "attack melee" button. But is there any way to control when and how he shifts between main and secondary set when mouse clicking?
Cheers.

if you use the keyboard, bumping into an enemy will use melee, using the shoot talent will use bow.
for mouse... you have to drag the attack talent onto your hotbar and use it that way.

If you press 'm' to bring up the talent menu, you can right click on the sword (Attack) icon and set it to be the Left-click action.

I have a similar issue with the skill "thread walk". However i bind the melee atttack (left button, another button), my thread walk whn I'm standing next to an enemy uses my currently equipped set. I can't seem to be able to control if I do a melee attack or a ranged attack with Thread Walk, other than actually shifting my current set of weapons. Which, of course, costs me a turn in form of an attack, an abiliuty, or a hard shift to the other set.
So, how do I control if I hit with melee weapon or bow with thread shift when standing next to an enemy? None of the tips preivous in this thread works.
cheers

Thread Walk, Thread the Needle and Warden's Focus all use whichever weapon set you have equipped at the moment, since they work with bow or dual blades. To make proper use of them, you'll need to pay attention to which weapon set you're using.
