Steamgun and steamsaw crits?

Am I correct that steamguns and steamsaws crit based on physical crit chance, and not steam crit chance?
I know basic attacks use your physical crit chance. And the procs from tinkers attached to the weapons (such as Acid Grooves for example) use your steam crit.
I'm not sure about weapon based talents that use steam resource. I would guess those go off of physical crit chance too. But then steam talents that are like spells and don't require your weapon use the steam crit chance.
