ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi guys. I have a (what I think) dumb question: aside from the obvious advantage of taking the Grappling tree and/or the 'You Shall Be My Weapon' prodigy, is there anything else I could get for being a gargantuan-sized Brawler?

By the way, in case anyone is wondering, my Skeleton Brawler have had the extreme good luck of completing the Mighty Girdle + Snow Giant Wraps (+2 size) AND also found one of them Behemoth Hide (+1 size) in one game, no item vault used..

Swag points, mostly. Realistically I can't think of anything else other than Ogre's Grisly Constitution that is affected by size cat (and even then you're a brawler, so you won't be using a weapon, so it doesn't even apply). You get some extra hilarity if you're using the Visible Size Differences addon, but other than that, just the knowledge that you're a 60-foot tall skeletal Fist Horror.

There is at least one more thing that is affected by size category, and that is the life threshold to instakill with Swallow.

As in, it'll be harder for my character to be grappled, since the one doing the grappling should be at least huge-sized, yes? Though I don't think it help resist pinning or stunning or whatnot..

I think that he means the life threshold for YOU to instakill things with Swallow, since it checks your size against your opponent's size.

Not with my char, since it (he?) is a Skeleton Brawler..

Bone-Fighter the Gargantuan Skeleton Brawler

Since it's now level 30 and can take a prodigy, I'm thinking of taking 'You Shall Be My Weapon!' as one of them, the other is 'Giant Leap'.. now I just have to remember never to remove my Behemoth Hide, at least..
