Possible to add tinkers to non-tinker class in EoR?

Dumb question, as per the title. Playing the Embers campaign, is it possible to unlock tinkering on a non-tinker class like it is in the base campaign? If so, are the requirements the same? (500 gold and a cat point?)

There's a shop in the orc starting town that'll do it for 100 (?) gold and no cat point.
After all, tinkering is the whole point of the campaign.

100 gold per category, so 200 in total.

Duly noted. Thank you very much! I've never played EoR as a non-tinker class, so I don't remember it ever coming up. Could be fun...
