Is there a good reason to wield a quiver for non-bow user?

Is there ever a point in wielding a quiver of arrows for non-bow user? Do some quivers/arrows give bonuses when they are not used with a bow directly or just by having them equipped?

No there is not. No quivers give "on worn" properties (and thankfully so).

I think it only works with sling ammo, but I think the point of the Hand Cannon Tinker is to allow you to shoot from your ammo without a weapon equipped. Maybe that fits within the confines of your question, maybe not.

Also, I believe there are a few tinkers that require ammo to equip but which don't require a ranged weapon to use. I'm not 100% sure about that, though. Either way it doesn't matter what your ammo actually is in that case, just that you have something to apply the tinker to.

Solipsists have the talent Psychometry: "Resonate with psionic, nature, and anti-magic powered objects you wear, increasing your physical and mind power by (Raw Talent Level / 2) or 15–50%cTL:500% of the object's material level (whichever is lower but always at least 0.5)."

Ammo counts for that.

If you're investing more than one point into psychometry you might be doing something wrong.
