ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Heyas,
Just wondering how I check my progress on the Pyromancer and Cryomancer achievements? The wiki says this can be checked, but my Steam achievements and the te4.org listings don't show progress for me for some reason.

You check it from in game.
Need to have a character loaded, then go to Show Achievements in the escape menu.

And I am only 46% complete of the highest of the two. Dang!

Apparently Alchemists with the appropriate Throw Bomb element are the best at unlocking these.
