ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi there!

I'm playing a Paradox Mage at the moment. I'm level 48. I've cleared out the slime tunnels, and I have the quest called "Falling Toward Apotheosis.

However, when I go to the end of the slime tunnels, I can't enter the High Peak. When I mouse over the purple > symbols, there is a tooltip that says "Minimum level 55".

I'm a little confused by this. I'm playing on normal difficulty if that makes any difference.

I've never run into this before. Any ideas?

Apparently I can move onto the MIDDLE of the field of > symbols, but the 3 rows at the top and bottom can't be moved onto.

Because that makes sense. >.<

Minimum level to enter high peak:
42

The min level listed is just because of the level of enemies who spawn there (and that's largely irrelevant).

Yeah that is the minimum level of the enemies, not the minimum level you must be to enter.
