Complete Melinda and Fortress Quests?

I have played the game through to the end multiple times, and every time I have done so, there have been two quests which are still listed as 'active': "Sher'Tul Fortress" and "Melinda, lucky girl". There is nothing listed in the description for either as things left to do. Is it possible to get these marked as 'done'? If so, what do I need to do?

some spoilers*

Melinda, you need to talk to her in Last Hope city by moving towards the right door (southern part of the city) and select the correct dialogue to trigger an event with her.

The fortress, go back there with a certain item and look at the paintings I think

Those two quests are never marked as done. If you don't want quests active, you could kill Melinda to change that to failed.

I've gotten Melinda into the fortress, but nothing I say to her at this point has choices any more.

As for the paintings, I did that on my last run and it didn't change the quest.

I don't really mind if quests are active, I just would like to complete them if possible, is all. Get the rest of the story and such.

There is nothing else to do.
