ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm playing my first character that's gotten past level 10 or so - a summoner.

I have the grand arrival passive talent, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Specifically, I summon a fire drake and I don't get any fire drake hatchlings. This isn't because of the summoned creature limit - it's the case even if I summon only the fire drake.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you have master summoner sustained?

Yes...that was it. I didn't realize I needed that to make my passive work. Thanks!

last time i checked (few versions back i think)
the hatchlings were bypassing the limit, while still counting towards it.
was that changed?

Seems it's fixed for 1.5 : they don't count anymore
