Embers of Rage Prodigies in the Main Game?

Dumb question here.
If I buy Embers of Rage, will the prodigies that are special to that expansion unlock in the main game? I'm looking at the one where you get an extra life (but are forced to change races), personally.

Yes. People seem to have taken a great liking to subcutaneous metalization and pain enhancement system in the main campaign.

Neat. Being able to reduce any attack by 50+ damage DOES sound pretty good. I was thinking of holding off on buying it until later, but I may pick it up sooner than I thought.

The new classes and races are a lot of fun too, not to mention the brand new campaign. Well worth the money for what you get
