Are arrows from Quiver of the Sun beams or projectiles?

I have been theorycrafting archer builds but I haven't had the luck to own one, so...
More specifically, are the arrows affected by shattering shouts, slow motion, shoot down and similar talents?
In other words, are they functionally beams or just piercing projectiles?

all arrows and shots are projectiles.
have you ever strolled through korpull and noticed an arrow, that is not an item, right in between you and a skeleton archer?
or when participating in the arena quest, have you seen, a ball right in between you and that annoying slinger?
while insanely fast, they ARE projectiles, and act as such. so yes, they are affected.
although, there is that one talent in the bow specific category, that pierces multiple enemies. i am pretty certain that one is a beam.
also, don't worry about not being master of an archer. many dislike him.
those who claim otherwise are probably either trolls, or so good at this game they lost concept of "difficult" and just go random madness and win every time.

99.8% sure that the quiver of the sun changes your projectile type to "beam", so yes. I believe they are actual beams.

yes. queever of the sun does changes them to beams, meaning they aren't otherwise.

They are instant, so they can't be destroyed in flight and probably don't trigger Slow Motion (which wouldn't help against them anyway).
However they might be affected by things like Misdirection, as that interferes with the targeting.

housepet, you mean the ones from the sun quiver right? not the normal ones.
but then how would actually misdirection work?
would it still affect your aim, if you aim behind the target, rather than right at it?

Of course I mean the Sun arrows. Why would I be saying normal arrows ignore anti ranged talents?
I'm actually not sure how Misdirection is coded. The archery code is a bit scary.

Thank for the quick answers!
Ironically I'm exactly trying to prove that bow archers are "better". (admittedly objectively worse and not at all viable)
I had this nightmare/roguelike win with bow archer (granted it's shalore but it's not a broken archer race in particular imo), I noticed that the only thing that remotely threatened me lategame was the slow motion + shattering shout combo along with a few teleporting shenanigans, as arrows stay on my square for 3 (of my) turns with 20 levels of slow motion. Eating your own vital shot is no joke.
As mentioned elsewhere the worst case was Warmaster Gnarg as I had to sneak around and steal the athame with him being impossible to kill at level 37, but otherwise the run was surprisingly smooth.
Contemplating an insane run here, and Quiver of the Sun would certainly be a centerpiece. Ignoring misdirection would be another nice bonus though.
PS: Why are there still so many little mysteries?
