ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

According to the wiki, you can force Walrog to spawn by killing both Slasul and the water dragon.

I tried this twice and it did not work. What am I doing wrong? Does it matter if you kill Slasul first or second? Do you need to choose certain dialogue options? And where does Walrog spawn? I searched everywhere in both underwater caves, but no luck.

I'm not sure if the order is supposed to matter, but the last time I did it I remember I accepted [unprounceable] the dragon's quest, Killed Slasul, then came back and killed Puff.

Ok, same as I did.. where did Walrog spawn? Do you remember?

There was a dialog pop-up (the same sort of window you get when talking to a plot NPC, escort, alchemist quest, etc.), then he spawned on screen. So the second floor of the Flooded Cave.

He'll spawn next to you and talk. If he doesn't then he probably already spawned somewhere previously. Likely somewhere in Nur.

I ended up dying to Athamathon before finding out. Damn, I could have unlocked Doomelf.
