Playing as archmagi, whatever listed +spellpower the staff has, I only get a measly +1 to +3, nevermind if the staff has a +7.

I tried searching the wiki for staff, weapons, spellpower, but no answer.

Really, why have a +7 item that becomes +2 effective.

Welp, that means the Arcane Power talent at 5 points puts you straight into Tier 2 o_o

It also means Arcane Power talent even at 5 points gives you very little benefits past the early game :p

Well, if the magic stat gives you 1 spellpower per point, it's worth as much as 25 points in magic stat, isn't it?

Also, I'm not good enough at the game to worry about anything beyond early game yet (o:

can we make so arcane power increases the the ammount of SP you get from magic, as well as flat ammount?
that way it would give a... "decent"... ammount of SP early, and would still be relevant later.

For anyone trying to land status effects, every point helps.

Flat, so 1 point is 5%.

It's worth noting that Arcane Power's +20 SP bonus (before scaling) at talent level 5 is equal to a tier 4 or tier 5 staff. You really can't look at these things in isolation; your total bonus for a recalled stat is going to be the sum of all stats, plus items, plus talents.

The +20, if you're already at 40 (after scaling), will still grant another +6 (20/3), which is not trivial. And you'll need that +20/+6 if you're going to get more bonus to push you up into the next tier.
