ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

An odd thing happens from time to time, for no particular reason the game stops responding to the key binds.
"I" wont bring up my inventory, "Q" starts showing my list of quests, instead of being my weapon selector. I'd have to get to the menus via right-click. I thought I was accidentally hitting a key to change keymaps, but that wasnt it. And no key would switch it back, then I noticed it reverted on its own accord. Any idea what this is about?

Another thing I'm dealing with [in my current game], is that my talent icons at the bottom of the screen are gone. still have the talents though. In this case I think I hit a button!, but I don't know what to do. Could you tell me how to get them back on screen?

For the first one it sounds like your computer is still registering a shift key as still down. Just tap each shift key and it will work it out.

For the second one, use mouse wheel or page up/down.
