ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

New player here. I have played the game for a while and I saved it before I died. When I loaded the game back up none of my save files where listed. I went to the save game folder and it looks like my saves are in there. They just don't show up when u click on load saves. I have the game on Steam.

Sounds like a cloud saving issue. Disable steam cloud for this game. (And if applicable, possibly purge the files for the steam cloud for this game (and only this game.)

Steam cloud saves do not work properly with this game, and steam hasn't fixed it.

Also, check the Show old saves button on the loading screen (when ToME gets updated, saves from old versions usually do not appear on the list, without the button ticked, and there have been some updates in recent days).
