Hi, when my disruption shield breaks due to high damage the arcane storm sometimes kills me cause the damage is too high regardless I have max arcane resistance (70%). Ive tried to deactivate the shield but that only removes my resistance buff, not the storm = dead...

Really annoying cause this is probably the last 5 deaths, I play Nightmare/Rougelike Archmage, usually dies around level 20-25...

Help!

The damage done by the storm scales with total damage absorbed during the shield's duration. So you can deactivate and reactivate the shield between fights, thereby resetting the total damage absorbed.

You can use the torque that reduces arcane damage

You can use items that have arcane wards

You can use a shield rune or item
