Does Stealth ignore size? In other words, can I hide effectively as an Ogre with a belt of +2 size?

Pretty much everything ignores size, so yes.

but if the enemy has a telepathy item for sizes 5+ they can telepathically detect big people. because big people think in their minds about how they are freaking huge and hope no one bumps into them while they are hiding, and so certain kinds of telepathy items are tuned in to detect that.

Sweet, not ruling Ogre out from stealth builds then.

Is that a joke that is going over my head or something? I can't imagine why any enemy would carry such an item.

because they keep getting attacked by stealthy big people? so they need the item! maybe the small races invented it?
