Please explain "mind slow", "nature slow", etc

If I'm interpreting these correctly, it means that a successful application of the effect (like from the Spider-Silk Robe of Spydrë) will slow these... skills/talents... from the relevant tree?
I'm pretty sure I actually don't understand what this really means. Thanks for the help!

"Mind slow" uses your mindpower vs the target's physical save to apply the slow debuff for 4 turns. "Nature slow" deals nature damage and slows the target for 3 turns without checking saves. Both types reduce the target's global speed.

Oh, thank you, that helps!
So how many types of <foo> slow damage are there? ... and where is all this documented?
Thanks again!

There's no real documentation for damage types and a lot of them exist solely to be used by one talent. The only way to find out exactly what they do is to look through damage_types.lua.

Nothing to stop someone documenting them on the wiki.

I'm pretty sure "nature slow" doesn't reduce HP at all. It just slows the target by x% amount. It's "nature" typed in that it can be resisted by nature resistance, buffed by +%nature, and so on.

Nature Slow does do nature damage.
I'm not aware of any status effect that uses damage modifiers for changing the strength of the effect.

For ice, the life of the resulting ice block is dependent on the damage done.

Oh yeah, but that's a bit indirect.
