Do addons disallow achievements?

Does downloading any sort of addon disable getting achievements or can I download things like the talent point planner addon and be okay for achievement gain?
Are they mutually exclusive or can some work and some not?
(I havent' tried getting any yet)

Addons do not interfere with achievements, provided you don't alter them. Things will cooperate fine if you download and start a new character.

Oh snap, I was wrong, I meant DLC's! I am not sure if the question was answered understanding that or if it was meant in reference to the official addons like Ashes and the Steam UI.
EDIT: I'm really bad at terming stuff, I just realized the addons are termed as addons and the steam ui and ashes are DLC. -_-. thank you again

The DLC has its own achievements, so its hardly going to disable them.
