ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm returning to the game after some time away, and trying the updated Temporal Warden. I ran out of arrows in the middle of the tutorial level, and now I don't have access to the Reload talent. I saw this in the updates:

"Reload is no longer granted to anyone. You'll still have it if you had it. You still won't use it ever!"

So what do I do now if I run out of arrows mid-fight? Idle? Move around randomly? That seems to replenish my quiver, but is that the only way?

What else would there be?
Idling or moving was how Reload worked before. Now you just don't have to push the button.
