ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

After playing for far too long, I *finally* unlocked necromancer. Oh. My. Dark. God!

Is it bad that I like playing a necromancer so much? I can't wait to crush everyone under my feet! No... my *minion's feet*. That's right! No need to do any more dirty work! And the more I kill, the more minions I can make. Can it get any better?

About this unlock... I have had the last three pieces of necromancer lore for AGES but the first one has never dropped for me. Do you only get necromancer lore if you play as an archmage/alchemist (which I haven't done for a while)? Or am I just being really unlucky?

(Also - not sure if this is a bug, but I now never get lore in Dreadfell. Even if I walk over the signs, the lore doesn't pop up. Is this because I've visited the fortress library and "got" all the Dreadfell lore already?)

There is an option to not show lore popups if you already know them.

No worries rasputin303! Actually, I felt a little bad because I didn't really ask a useful question, so I'm glad somebody got use from it

One thing you can do to double check if you have really not seen the first bit of lore is to check logs in the flying fortress under lake nur. It's possible that you got it but accidentally dismissed it without reading it.
