ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi. As far as I've gathered from reading the wiki, you're supposed to unlock the race by killing Subject Z without the yeek wayist dying, while not playing as a halfling. Is this really correct? Because I've done this multiple times, with no success... There's also this tunnel in the room which I can't enter, as I get a message about my character "feeling a strange compulsion to go backward".

You can't go in the tunnel if you are not a yeek.

You should unlock yeek if you save the yeek mindslayer. I think it may be after you talk to him and the mindsave bonus though.

If you are not getting it at all I would just edit your unlock file, its pretty easy really.
