ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

On this dwarf berserker, http://te4.org/characters/24273/tome/58 ... 9e3fbd5c8b I can't find the sandworm queen. I've looked for hours, tried teleport spamming on the final floor, and I've tried deleting the sandworm lair files multiple times to regenerate the dungeon. I've tried using Marson's boss awol addon but it doesn't seem to be helping. I'm out of ideas and it's very frustrating because this is the first character I've taken seriously in ToME and I don't want it to be like this. I'd rather start over than try to skip it.

Edit: No longer getting the save progress bar issue so I removede it from this post.

Next time, try Marson's AWOL before you replace the file. If the boss spawned once in the original dungeon, it might have simply been missing and could be recovered with AWOL. However, by replacing the file you removed the existing Sandworm Queen, and she will only spawn once, so every further generation of the dungeon wouldn't have her.

I see. Well that's unfortunate. I did keep the old file for a while but I've since deleted it, having given up on the whole thing. Thanks anyhow.
