Break Risk

The game says I need to play an older version to continue my characters, which I could do, but I read on FAQ that playing old characters in a new version may break the character. Is there a way I can risk playing my older characters in the newest version even if it means they may break?

Um... You can go ahead and check the option that shows all characters, not just compatible ones, but I'm not sure that's what you want.
If you're asking about safely playing with the most up to date version, that won't happen. You'll either have to risk breaking or downgrade to an older version. The big thing to look for is whether or not your character has been affected by updates. If you're using a Berserker and the update didn't change any Berserker abilities, you should be fine. If you're using a Brawler from back when Grappling sucked... Yeah, be real careful about that one.
