Okay, I'm getting overwhelmed by the status effects, I can't keep on doing dmg. Died a few times prior to getting 36 and light magic heals, but came back and still couldn't kill him even with providence.

Any hints guys? Here's my char:

I've never played a Shadowblade, let alone used it to kill the Oozemaster, but I think you should use more AoE abilities. From what I've seen, your character is built for high single target damage. The Oozemaster however, spawns oozes that take some of the damage you do to him. By using AoE attacks, you can both kill the slimes and do more damage to the Oozemaster.

So if I were you, I'd try to put at least one point in whirlwind for an extra AoE ability, but I'm not entirely sure if it's the best decision

I see you're lv43 with just one Prodigy. You are allowed to pick another after 42.
There are several helpful prodigies to choose from, Windblade not being the weakest out there. There are also some for status effects removal but for them I'd rather take gear that prevents poison or whatever you get hit with.

Can't remember what statuses Oozenest uses but by looking at your char I would guess they're physical since your physical resist is rather low. Look for some gear to raise that and see if it helps.

1/ You only have 4 inscriptions!

2/ You have mostly Runes. That's bad. Runes become unavailable when you get Silenced, so your Biting Gale is nearly useless -- since the major Mental status you will need to remove is Silence.

Key advice: get a Wild Infusion. There are separate cooldown debuffs you get for Runes and Infusions -- using only one or the other type means worse cooldowns for that type.

Specifically, get a Wild infusion with a Mental status clear, or Mental + Magical status clear.

3/ You don't seem to use a lot of Technique talents (no Sweep or Whirlwind), nor a lot of Spells which can crit, so I'm not sure why you took Eye of the Tiger. But since you have it, optimize it! Get Sweep and Whirlwind (one point each) at least.

4/ Did you pay a catpoint for the Staff tree? For future reference, a catpoint is totally worth the 500 gp, since inscriptions are so useful.
