ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Infinite dungeon character can level past 50, right? So:
1) If i start normal game and then enter ID, will i be able to level past 50?
2) If i start ID game, can i get things from normal one like sandworm heart/bile, alchemists, escorts, buy generic trees for gold?

1) You can level past 50 in the ID without addons only if you start a character in it.
2) No, although the I500 addon linked above adds escorts, the Sandworm Queen/Corrupted Sandworm as random bosses so you can their drops, and shops. I500 works fine for the current version.
