ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi there.

I discoverd this JEWEL of a game a few days ago, and REALLY love it so far.
Also donated some money to the dev, to support his insane work.

But there is one thing, maybe missread in some other discussions.

I use the version from the website (not the steam version). And i use this on my PC and my laptop.
And some other guys wrote, that you can use your same characters (savegames) on both machines, as they were stored online. And actually when you look at your TOME-profile, the characters are there, but when i log in at my laptop, i cant find my characters (savegames).

So i searched a bit for this topic, and actually got both results.

So maybe somebody can help me.

I'm pretty sure that sharing actual characters between computers is limited to the steam version.

You can copy the save files from one machine to another, but the non-Steam version doesn't sync them.
