Are achievements avaliable for non-paid versions of the game?

I guess the answer is yes, but even though I got the first achievement (the one with the baby), it does not show up anywhere.

Achievements are available with any version of the game, as are rewards, in the forms of trees, classes and races.

Rewards from achievements that don't fall under those (cosmetic rewards, mainly) require a donation to use. It also nabs you some nifty donator perks, such as an item vault.
