ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I just played the game recently how can i summon minions I really need a good sword or where should I hunt swords? I asked someone in the game but they ignored me.

You can summon minions by being the Summoner class, and using their abilities.
Necromancer also makes minions in this way, and Alchemist starts with a golem (and can rebuild it with their Refit Golem skill).
Also, weapons are all random drops. To get a good one, search the dungeons and kill bosses.
