ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So... I just scored the Summertide Shield from my first farportal exploration, and am quite happy since i'm a Bulwark.

My question is about its power -- 'send out a beam of light'. What does that do, exactly?

Its a basic light damage attack. It scales with cun and wil.

odd. I've 'shot' it at a couple monsters with no effect. not even a '0 damage' message. will try some more...
