Unable To Use Donator Bonuses

I decided to donate donate today, so that I could get the custom tiles. I used a visa card on a paypal account to donate, but when I started up the game and logged in the custom tiles and exploration mode were still locked as if I had never donated. I check on the website and I have bronze donator status, so I'm pretty sure my donation has been registered. Is there a wait time before the donator features become available in game, or some other reason I can't use these features?
