ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I checked some winners and it seems that while some of them don't have 100% stun resistance and some have it from items there are a few who have 100% stun resistance and I cannot understand from what source. They don't play anything with innate stun resistance like ghoul or cursed, their items don't provide it, either at all or to 100%, and they still have it as 100%, just how?

They get it from the Pearl of Life and Death, an object dropped by the final bosses which gives full stun immunity among other bonuses when carried.

I didn't look at all of them, but in the case of the first one, the "Pearl of Life and Death" is in their carried inventory and it has a 100% stun resist "when carried". Most items need to be worn, but several have passive or active talents that can take effect when simply carried.
