Although I do understand you can't give size category away too nicely due to that one prodigy that would then become nearly op due to doing so, it would still be nice if I could have some way of getting a nice, intrinsic size category bonus for my wyrmic as it's very saddening when I see swallow fail due to a regular size category.

There are both artifacts and egos that increase size category. So you can increase size on any character.

Verdant Class Pack addon gives Wyrmics a talent which can do that.

Thank you, half the reason I ever started making wyrmics was so I could eat the things that I hated most, and it's very saddening when you can barely succeed in swallowing even regular humans as a yeek wyrmic.

There are exactly five ways to increase your size category: monstrous belts (greater ego), boots of massiveness (greater ego), Behemoth Hide (artifact light armor), Mighty Girdle + Snow Giant Wraps (artifact belt and gloves set; gives +2 size), and Deeprock Form (Stone Warden class talent; gives +2 size).
As for You Shall Be My Weapon, note that most races need +1 size to even take the prodigy, while Yeeks and Halflings need +2. The prodigy deals 350% damage if you are "big" (the minimum size to use it) and +80% damage for each size category above that. Note that Massive Blow, which is also a Strength prodigy, deals 500% weapon damage if you manage to knock your enemy into a wall, which isn't especially hard to arrange. Thus, for YSBMW to consistently out-damage Massive Blow, you need to be "gargantuan" (ie, bigger than every NPC in the game, including Atamathon).
To become gargantuan, most races will need +3 to size, which means you'll need either all three artifact listed above; the Girdle/Wraps set and boots of massiveness; or the Behemoth Hide, monstrous belt, and boots of massiveness. Halflings and Yeeks would need all three artifacts and boots of massiveness. Thus, you are unlikely to break the game by taking YSBMW and stacking +size (unless you think Massive Blow is overpowered). Stone Wardens are unique in that they can become gargantuan with just a single ego combined with their Deeprock Form, though that doesn't last forever. Bear in mind that a prodigy is a pretty big opportunity cost, and Stone Wardens have a lot of useful prodigies, so I doubt it's overpowered even for them.
Oh, and as for Swallow: The description is not entirely accurate. Your size has nothing to do with the chance to swallow. What actually happens is that the ratio of your size to your target's size is factored in to your effective talent level when determining the HP threshold you need to reach. The "chance" is just a physical power vs physical save check (unless you kill the target outright, in which case you automatically eat them).

Thank you for clarifying that, that being said I honestly didn't know the snow giant wraps combined with the mighty girdle increased size category by 2. This will unsuprisingly change
everything.
