ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So, I bought a new computer, horray!

I have Windows Vista (probably one of the most horrifying operating systems ever BTW) in my old computer and Windows 8 in my new computer. Will my TOME 4 saves work if I just copy them to the new computer? Or are there compability issues? Or can you even copy TOME 4 save files without proccing some self-deletion anti-cheat save removal ?

Forgot: I'm playing TOME 1.1.2 and 1.1.5

I don't think that'll be a problem. I recently built a new computer and transferred all my data, including my ToME data. And I upgraded from Windows 7 to 8.

That's so cool! Thanks! I'm not sure how long I could keep playing those saves on my old computer, this laptop heats up like a stove nowdays .

EDIT. And since I think Vista and 7 are more alike than 7 and 8 I don't think there will be a problem since you didn't have one.

Generally speaking, if it worked on 7, it'll work on 8. Since 7 is just Vista 2.0, things should work just fine. In fact, most of the stuff I used in XP works on my 8 machine...

This. I've always considered 7 just an update for Vista -it's the windows that Vista should have been.

Seems to work just fine. I just copied the whole "save" folder to the same folder path in Windows 8. Hoorray!
