help with the tactical talents screen

I'm trying to get my golem to prioritize eye beam and taunt. But nothing I set the values to (have tried 9, 100, 1000) makes him use those skills as an opening move.

I haven't actually done all that much experimenting with the Golem, to be honest. But I'd assume 1 is highest priority, and that higher values equal less weight. Not counting zero, as you said. :)

Interestingly, I don't think the AI ever uses self-destruct, regardless of the weight.

It's not an available skill unless the alchemist is dead, in which case the AI isn't in control.

Set them as high as 50, no change in behavior, it prioritizes runes, then the physical talents.

As I remember it, higher numbers trigger first. I'm pretty sure it says which way it goes on that part of the screen.

Heh, no worries. I thought I might have bunged that one too, considering my brain-farts tonight. My last Alchy is dead, so I started a new one. It says the ranking is "multiplicative". I'm not sure what the rank is multiplied with, but 0 turns them off. 3x is bigger than 2x, so I reasoned that bigger numbers went first. That seemed to play out for me, though I didn't want it carefully to see.

I might just be expecting more than it can give, i redid it with high numbers again and I see eye beams occaisionally, just not as often as i'd like (I managed to get 300-700 damage out of them, nice little DPS boost).

Higher for the talent weights is better (used more often). Also don't forget to set the appropriate behavior setting (melee, ranged, tank) which will affect talent priorities as well.
