ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So I purchased the game on steam and played for a while on my PC. The game synced with steam and my character is on the website... Cool!

But then I logged into steam on another PC, and played the game. It grabbed my character and I was able to play, but it never synced up again. So my character wasn't saved in the cloud and my progress is lost. My only option now is to go back to my first PC and continue from level 6. Because my steam account will not sync with my game account anymore.

Does anyone know why it would sync on one PC but not on another? My only option is to register. But I don't want to register because I already have an account.

Hmm... If you're logged into ToME from your second machine, then it should've synced up with your first machine. The only thing that I can think of is if you weren't logged in with your second machine or if your first machine hadn't finished syncing before you tried to play your character. If you can, jump onto your second machine and save the character again. You should be able to load up ToME on the first one and be good to go.

If all else fails, you can always contact DarkGod and have him manually load the save.

It takes time to sync fully.
