ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm a new player to the game, and without actually changing ANY keybindings, somehow my auto attack from left clicking is no longer working. I'll be honest, this game is not fun enough to play without something as simple as a auto attack. So if this cannot be fixed, then i'll simply uninstall. But i'd rather try to get it fixed before it comes to that. I looked in the gameplay options, and even used the command to revert all settings to default, but nothing seems to fix this. Any help please?

I remember hearing someone with the same problem a while back. Can't remember how it was fixed though.

Still, as a suggestion I'd recommend you to move with keyboard Numpad instead of with mouse. Personally I'm only using mouse to pick hard to click spells and stuff from my quick bar and sometimes targeting spells, but everything I do with keyboard.

I don't play with the mouse so I'm not really sure what the default behavour is, but if you press 'm' you get a list of all your talents and which hotkey they're assigned to. "Attack" is usually the only one in the active talents section that isn't assigned to anything. Right-click on it and you get the auto-use options. Hopefully something in there is what you need.

Did you set yourself to the passive movement style? There's a crossed swords symbol or something near your player name/exp/level/etc

As I recall, there's also an option in the game options menu that sets the preference for being able to auto attack. I think.
