Multi-hued wyrm scale… not showing up.

So since the latest update I've played numerous games and have never managed to find the multi-hued warm scale.
It can be farmed in the ruined dungeon and I've tried to do so but nothing. I'm wondering if eliminating drops in the Ruined Dungeon also eliminated the drops for Alchemist quests.
So, has anyone else had this problem? Is it a bug?

I'm confused. Are you having trouble finding multi-hued wyrms in the first place, or are they just not yielding the ingredients?

I don't believe that Multi-hued Drakes count, if that helps. Only the Wyrms.

If you want to get it pre-east, perhaps adventurers might be worth the risk. PERHAPS.
Might be less risky than fighting actual multi-hued wyrms which are real terrors IIRC.

There are also some guaranteed multi-hued wyrms in the Vor Armory.
