ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi

I'm a Chinese and my English sucks. I need the help from Chinese translation addon to play this game.
The addon is from a fan not the official and it gave me the error message on the bottom left corner each time i loaded the game.
It's saying "

Due to bad game addon version [addon:chn], online save is not working (switching to offline save)


"

I can't use the shared item vault and cannot see my characters online.

How do I fix this?

Game : 1.13 via Steam

whoever created that addon needs to upload it to te4.org and validate the checksum. Player made addons work just fine, as long as the player goes through the proper steps to validate them with the database

It is most probably your chinese translation addon ("chn") that is causing the problem.
You can either:
1) Disable the "chn" addon and see if it works. If it works after your disable the addon, it is definitely caused by the "chn" addon.
2) This is more complicated. You have to get DarkGod (the author) to validate/allow the addon.

I've got in touch with the author and he's planning to make the upload later 2014.
